Meditation is a technique that is used to enable the person to reconnect with their authentic self. It is an antidote for the body's reaction to stress. Meditation can be used to focus the mind in order to make clearer decisions. It is a way to get in touch with the stillness and silence that rests within each of us.

Meditation is not a religion. While it can complement any faith system you may have, Meditation itself does not require belonging to any religious organization. Meditation can also be a completely secular practice of stress management. Meditation is not a substitute for mental health care services.

What are the benefits of meditation?

A regular meditation practice may reduce your experience of fight or flight, lower blood pressure, improve circulation, increase cognitive thinking & decision making abilities, aid in proper digestion, improve quality of sleep. There is some research that suggests that a regular meditation practice aids the body in the process of cellular regeneration.
